The Elite Indoor Football Conference is pleased to announce that the Polk County Venom will be joining the EIFC for the 2017 indoor football season. Founded in 2015 in amateur football, the Venom will be a newly formed professional indoor football team based in Polk County, Florida. The Venom have a strong program on and off the field with there fans and community.

Under the leadership of team Owner Tony Rodriguez and Head Coach Dale Sherman of the Polk County Venom he as a vision is to build a strong tradition in indoor football. The 2017 EIFC season looks to be an exciting season with a group of strong new teams moving to indoor football”.
Tony Rodriguez owner of the Polk County Venom was quoted to saying "I'm excited joining the Elite Indoor Football Conference (EIFC) and giving his organization and players the opportunity to play professional indoor football this is a great move for my players. The UFFOA is a wonderful league and I am happy to have been a part of that organization. I just felt that at this time that the EIFC was a perfect fit for what my players as accomplish in our 2016 championship run in EDFL. We also wanted to continue to build upon our championship in our season in the EIFC. Venom's are ready to strike in 2017.
